basshead4life Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 I'm planning to uprgrade my system to 2 18's and im kinda stuck between 2 Fi SSD 18's and 2 DC LVL 4 18's. which would be louder going in my daily driver which is a 1996 elantra wagon and just due to size of box it will be walled behind the backseats. just wondering people opinons on which sub, box size and tuning. all help will be appricated. also if anyone knows the price of the lvl 4 18's please tell me rusty wont email me back. Team S.M.D. Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1 - American Bass 500.1 - 60 ft of 3/0 -480 Ah of battery - (2) stock alternators (70 +90) - Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol
