KHARPS
Hard to say...but the lv4xl is a great woofer. I had the 10'' and it was a beast.

Chris from Mi
each setup could be louder than the other, its all in the install, but 1 12" would have a hard time keeping up with 4 12", i'd say 2 lvl 3 or 4 12's in a 4 cuft ported Quote Orion 2500D, Jbl Gto 75.4 Team Wolfpack Audio FSQ 15" d2, mb quart xover, tweets peerless 6.5 mids Alpine cda-105 optima up front Knu klm 1/

sound xtreme
its not always about the woofer, if you dont have 2000-2500 to push on the 4XL it may not be worth it. Instead of getting 1 big motor woofer, i would suggest getting 4 level3 12's, or 2 of the level4 12's. Cone area does matter here, but even more important is the box design and quality, and the power going to the sub(s) Quote 1997 Astro front:6 sets of T3 componets Subs: 8 level 5 18"s (building 6th order BP) Amps: 4 really big ones (totalling just shy of 50K) Batts: Alt: Ohio Generator 1996 Chevy Suburban Sub amp: A fifth really big amp Subwoofer: 2-15" DC Level 4 XL Batts: C&D high rate--(x4)
Gibbs
I think you will get locked in a lil bit but I would say get a dc.thisread the rules.....but yes....DCFTMFW lol Quote Check out my build and the band Like We Always Do! Once you start you can never stop. Bass addiction is serious. And there is no 12 step program for it. Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move.
