First "real" system, was pawn shop special for $80 ...... 2 Kicker XPL 12's (original models?) mid 90's. With a mighty 200w radio crap amp. :blink:

the kickers were ok, still have em for my home sub setup till I get a proper one

14 years ago... 2 titan 8"s and cheap azz horn drivers on the top of a truck style box with a purple rockwood 400 watt amp and a audiovox shaft style deck. And 10 gauge romex wire for power and lamp cord type speaker wire and legasy 6.5's in the doors. Sounded terable but, about 40 systems later, lead me to partenership in an Car audio shop. Total cost = $95

i had a sony headunit. which was a birthday gift about 4 years ago... sony 5 1/4" in the doors... an infinity basslink... i liked the quality of that thing.....

funny cuz i told myself i would never spend to much into my sound system...

mine was a rockfords punch 250.2 it came with the truck when i bought it. a 12" sony Xplod lol. and sony door speakers. lol i got it all for my Bday.

i had the weakest sh!t here.... 2 10" pyramid blue diamonds off of the stock deck lol...and i loved every bit of it.

im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire.

Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block....
