i got a new belt awhile ago an it started squeaking again, is there a easy way to fix it? i got some of that belt dressing but it says not to use on serpentine belts...?

Squeal? Usually caused by it slipping, belt dressing worked for me though. Only time it squeals is on start up when the back side of the belt would rub the idler pulley though. Replacing the belt actually solved my problem though. It all started after the tensioner broke though

Sure it is not your idler pulley or tensioner pulley? Those should be replaced regularly. The bearings will go bad in them and cause a squeaking noise

x2, and belt dressing will cause the squeak to get worse, i learned the hard way

Take a bar of soap and with the engine running ease the soap on the underside of the belt.

Take the belt off and clean it using an old toothbrush and warm water with MILD amounts of soap. Do not put soap directly on the back of the belt as this can cause the belt to start slipping (especially if the belt is on the vehicle and running). Allow it to air dry for 24 to 48 hours. Make sure it is completely dry before you put it back on.

I would replace your tesioner too. Its cheap and easy to do since your taking the belt off anyways.
