BassAddict32 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 so i want to run disk defragment to free up a bit of space and whatnot on my computer. however, each time i try to start it or even analyze it, it says "disk defragment couldn not start". any idea why?? and i've tried going through CMD and it does the same thing to me there. so is there a way i can fix this??? Resolution:- Start>Run>Services.msc>ok Scroll down to DCOM Server Process Launcher.Double click on it and set Startup type to Automatic.Restart your computer." Let me know if it works Quote
