Will This Help On The Lows?

whats the specs on your subs? and why are you persistant to try to tune that low

Sorry didn't see your post. I just want my lows back ^ I have some for my 10 2^3 box tuned to 30 - 32 hz and I want some like that so I thought tuning lower would help make up for box size but I guess not.

for those subs, infinity says they like closer to 2cuft ported per sub

so at 3.2cuft... all you have to gain is low end by going bigger

designed a 4.3 cu ft tuned to 38Hz box for those...slammed hard down to below 30Hz easily.

Ok Update!

I got a 1990 Honda Accord and started building myself a new box! It is for my 2 12s so judging by aznboi having a box that is 4.3 at 38hz that gets low, I should be wangin on the lows now! My new box is going to be 4.2 cube tuned to 28hz. I know a lil low but like I said before I love em and don't care if I lose my "mids".

I thought I would just fill ya'll in, I can't wait to hear this bish!

So he can play lowes better. People always say they can play lows but all they mean is there sub moves on the low notes. Sure the sub moves but if you dont feel it then its useless. It is easier for a low tuned enclosure to play high notes then a high tuned enclosure playing low notes.

Theres really no need musically to tune 30 and below. I dunno i love the lows but ive never had to sacrifice my upper end to get it. Gl on the box b. It will play lows but most likely suck on any regular music.

You don't need a box tuned to 28 or 30 to hit the lows. Just because you are tuned to say 38+ doesn't mean your f3 is that high.

I disagree. Like I said it is easier for a low tuned box to play higher than a high tunes box to play low. In my systems I really only like to full tilt it with songs that go very low and alot of others I tried to play the same songs the sub moves but there is no pressure.
