Jared420
2 2" ports 12" long. gets you 37hz see its a good thing your telling me this because the port calculator i used at the12volt.com toldme to get 38 hz from a 2'' port it would be only 5.5 inches long..So 2 2'' ports in each sideof the box? a foot long each.. Just outta curiousity what would have happened if i followed that and did 1, 2'' by 5.5 or 6 inch long port 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts

Jared420
tuned at about 46-47hz ok so basically the longer the port the better. And i think this is my last question. Its ok to port 2 outta the three subs and it will still sound good? and if I were to port the third one where would be the best location to do it cuz i think im going to start with the 2 to begin with then i may try the third one and if it sounds bad i was just gonna seal the hole back up. 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
basshead4life
I agree I think a fiberglass box is a little beyond me. Id love to be able to do stuff like that but i just dont want to invest much more money into the sound system its just a dailydriver and I only want a little more bang not looking to be hittin 150 db I mean i completly appreciate all the ideas I just want the easiest cheapest way to get a little more bass. im pretty sure if they wanted you to hit a 150 theyd tell you get a couple 18's on 5000watts and do a blow thru lol Team S.M.D. Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1 - American Bass 500.1 - 60 ft of 3/0 -480 Ah of battery - (2) stock alternators (70 +90) - Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol
