I'm looking to buy focal components. I saw these for 700 on ebay NEW SEALED! FOCAL 165K3P COMPONENT SPEAKER SET. I was looking at focal.com and i didn't see them. does anyone know why? It's either that or these Focal 165KRX2 6.5" KRX 2 Way Component Car Speakers New. Which should I go with? Is one enough or should I buy two for the front and back? the price range are about the same on ebay for both

they just came out with some new lines. I have two sets of 165k2p and have heard a few k3p setup. absolutely amazing speakers. if you can afford them i wouldnt hesitate. Right now i have a jl 300/2 running to each set. I would recommend around the same amount of power for yours too!

why are these speakers not loud? i have a set of these connected to a t800-4 rockford amp. comparing them to my friends alpine componets they aren't as loud. my amplifier volume gain are all the way up. i'm not sure how to set the freq but i played with it a little bit but didn't really notice a difference. i have all the crossovers connected. what would we be the problem to this? i do have that engine humming sound maybe that could be the problem?

A good reason for the engine hum is you have the gains all the way up, ( not good)... Do you have a line driver?, and have some one help you with setting your gains properly, or you will say bye bye to a expensive set of speakers do to clipping....

i checked all the ground in the front of the car and they are secured. 1/0 wire to the chasis and engine block to the battery. i turned the amp gain vol in the center and i can rarely hear the humming sound but the components are kind of soft. what should the frequencies be set at? hertz? what's a line driver? i have a jvc cd/dvd touch screen but it only has front and rear rca jacks so theres four component speakers and two tweeters all connected on a splitter splitting signals on 1 line also with one sub too. i have the bass on a deck all the way down. do i need the crossovers?
