alvitae Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 how can i know how to tune a port? and also my port is like 3.5 at opening from front of box and when it goes left the port is 4.5 inches wide... port is uneven... it was my first box so i thought it wouldnt be perfect but does anyone have a recommendation on building a good box for my sub? http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/09/woofer09_1500.asp im using the 12" of this series... If it was me I would ask someone here to design me one, there are some good box builders on this forum. The usual fee isn't much at all and the results will be well worth it. You've got a good sub don't go blowing it up lol.

Different amps clip at different points. A good 500 watt amp may clip higher than say a no name crappy 1k amp. So your answer is probably no. Car Audio + Bodyboarding/Longboarding = LIFE!!!

I don't really think it's good quality, and that you could get 1000W RMS out of that amp. But it's better then the amp you got now. I don't think it's worth spending money on that amp. EDIt: i'm a slow typer. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
