mario7538 Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 hey guys i have 2 12 inch rf t1's in a seald box. i had my neighbor build a sealed box and i think each sub has about 2 ft of airspace right now. if i invert them would they be even louder than they are now? would i need to wire them down differently? right now they are on a hifonics 1606d. 04 hyundai sonata jvc head unit alpine type s components 6.5's 4 kicker tweeters 2 in the front 2 in the back MARIO
svman Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 if you invert both of them no you will not have to wire them different

07sOnAtA sp.ed Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 honestly they maybe alil louder, but you won't really notice the difference. the main reason i say it might be alil louder is... if you invert mount them the enclosure will be a lil bigger on the inside. for the most part the bigger the enclosure the louder it sound (with some exceptions) CURRENTLY UNDER RE-CONSTRUCTION 2008 Hyundai Sonata Team T3 Audio Team Deadly Hertz Team SMD (Street Motivated Devastation)
Berto Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 I think inverted subs look bad ass, but don't really change the performance of your subs that much. And like they already answered no you don't have to wire anything differently if you're inverting BOTH subs, but if you only do one inverted and one not inverted then you need to reverse the polarities. Loudintha509 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 If i had t1 or t2's I would invert them there so sexy. and the fact that the trim ring works either way is a sick plus. RF subs do look good inverted. even my old P2 10's had a good looking magnet and basket. Im def with mattman24, build a ported box and let those jokers flex.
