sundownz Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Had a few requests for videos. Made one playing "Trap or Die" by Jeezy. Seemed to be about the same on the meter door open or closed. Link to video : Four of the new SA-12s being used on two 3500Ds @ 1 ohm each (turned down of course as these are 600-watt rated subs). Derrick824 Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 yeah that is pretty impressive. but i have a couple questions. how much power are the actually seeing tho? how big is the box? how much port area you have? On a full tilt burp with a test tone he was seeing 4800watts of actual power and hitting 153s. The box is 6ft net volume with three 6" ports. Quote
sundownz Posted June 26, 2009 Author Report Posted June 26, 2009 Since music is dynamic I cannot tell you how much power they are seeing exactly... but as Derrick pointed out with 4800 total, 1200 per sub, it did 153.4 dB -- so they were seeing a good bit less than that.
