Hotdog
Ok I am to the point where I need to get some Sound Deadener put in the vehicle... How much is needed for a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer roughly. Same as 2003 Ford Explorer. 4dr model with 3 row seating and also while I am at it what other types of products have people use for sound deadening? Lowroll
How much deadener depends on how serious you get. How much of the truck are you going to do? the floor, back and side doors, the roof? I think most people on here will say spectrum sludge and second skin. I know that when my budget allows im going with second skin in my truck. MATTMAN24
2nd skin is badass, so is the sludge ive used both also have used raammat its a cheaper way to go, but if u can afford 2nd skin do it its better IMO Quote HIDS and projector headlights forsale http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/99528-hid-projector-headlights-and-hid-kit-look/ 24's and Tires forsale http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/100286-24s-with-tires-for-sale-east-texas/

I was thinking a different route for the floor but I want to get some deadener on the roof to especially above where Subs are. Hotdog
Well I hear how deadening the doors makes the door speakers sound a lot better so I wanted complete coverage there.. and The Rear hatch door takes a pounding so I wanted to cover that completely. Lowroll
Yeah full coverage is good lol. you gonna do one layer or two? I think the cargo area might benfit from a secondary layer since your subs are in that area.
