the thing that worries me bout a ten inch sub for midbass... is the sensitivity..

a normal sub that size is around 87-88 db @1w/1m whereas a normal midbass at that size would be 96-97 db @1w/1m

i just dont know if itll keep up with the 15's

it could possibly be like super loud 30hz bass then wimpy ass 70hz kick. not good

and as far as the speakers. things like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6271_Focal+165+V1.html is perfect. no need for that midbass usually.

dont be scared by the price tho. its just an example

but yeah if i got dorr speakers and everything be mids and make it sound good...idk id fig something out...

and i figured out it would be...

4x6 front speakers and 4x10 in rear pillar i was looking up wrong place...dang site lol..so no 6x9's lol just them 4x6 and 4x10

then do it when you get some money. install it, see that it's pointless, and take it out. trial and error...the fun part of car audio. i have 2 18's and i never once thought of putting 8's or 10's back there with em. silly imo

true that trial and error and if it dont work just sell to my bro or friend...and if it does work go me!!! LOL....

and yeah 2 18"s never ever seen in my life...well prob have not gonna lie but i dont ever remember sitting in something that did lol...be pretty sick day i do...lol....

sucks now that like cops pull u over for anything and like if ur system is like a tad bit high which is gonna be a little prob for me haha...but will learn and be careful and try not too but still like if i can hear their sirens and stuff they dont need to pull anyone over but i could understand if goin thru a family place and ur O.D blasting shaking windows haha..love dat video so awsome...i could understand po po gettin mad at us lol...

AND its so hard to find another audiopipe exactly what i have man ive been searching and searching so dang hard lol..

ima go up to some shops prob in couple days and see what i find but heck hope not too expensive meaning like what ive been seeing because dang lol...

tryin not to mix n match lol...

The sub isn't really as important as the enclosure. Even if you don thave a budget we could still help you come up with a reasonable parts/supplies list & as you got the money you could get the things you need. thats what im doing. iv been working on my system for over a month. got the subs, built the box, then ordered wire & such for my big 3, got the first amp & built the console, today I ordered all my wire & the accesories, wednesday ill order the other amp, & my first battery. its all about having a plan and sticking to it. decide what you want, how much your wiling to spend, and wether or not your willing to take the time to do it right and not rush it just so you have some rigged up beats.

Current System:

Pioneer 6900 HU

Front Stage: (for now)

Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors

Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash

Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs

Bass:

4 Soundstream RW-12's

2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's

single chamber box, 2.65 cubes.

alright thanks well...yall prob goin to laugh but hard these times and especially cuz im just starting out my badget aint even 1k....its more like...well....if i am going to buy new and go that plan ima go slow and keep saving up and buyin little by little but gotta fig exactly what subs and things i want...and i aint set on them brands really anymore lol..my budget will prob be like 500 bucks not going to lie...300-500 max....yeah i know it sucks and wont get alot but thats if im going used stuff or w.e and if not ill keep saving up and workin hard and buyin little by little till i can get me a big brand new system lol... :unknw:

yeah i know my budget aint big dont make jokes or laugh..anyone seen my age lol comon aint goin to have alot...and ive been working hard just to get that much... :sad:

and yeah man doin big three...its go big or go home...and might as well do all three now and finish with system for awhile then having to try craming back up in there hooking another up later down the road lol...

and for what its worth, based on your budget, youre not going to be able to afford L7s or 'good' Audiopipe as of yet...

I'd get this setup for now, which is in your budget, and itll sounds good too...
