spl4life Posted June 30, 2009 Report Share Posted June 30, 2009 i jus did a quick check on google for 97 camery... it looks like your stock alt pushes about 70-90 amps.... what kind of batteries do you currently have? an alt is a big investment... also installation can cause some problems... i have seen one guy pushing 5000w total power and 3 batteries on a stock alt... so its really up to you...you get an alt or upgrade batteries...
