  1. A member on another forum purchased a used Pioneer head unit from a seller on ebay. The seller claimed the unit to be in 100% working condition. This was not the case. On arrival the unit itself looked to be in good condition other than the wiring harness being nearly unusable as the wires were cut very short. A new wire harness was ordered but turned out to be of low quality. So using the original wire harness, the unit was installed. Everything on the unit worked BUT the CD player. The disc would spin up to speed and would play but would skip and cut out constantly. A cleaning disc was purchased and used to attempt to fix the issue. The cleaning disc didn't help. The seller was contacted and ONLY offered to split the cost of shipping to have the unit sent to a guy the "seller knew" that might be able to fix it. Since the seller noted in the pre-sale discription that the unit was in 100% working condition, it wasn't wrong to ask for a refund since clearly, the unit was not in 100% working condition. The seller then called and claimed that he/the buyer was out of luck and that he was only trying to "do him a favor.", which is ridiculous. A claim was filed through ebay but ebay chose in the seller's favor which is a fail on ebay's part. And knowing a lot of us use ebay, I guess we can only warn each other of shady sellers as much as possible. So here's the sellers info... cwcgl814 http://myworld.ebay.com/cwcgl814/ This seller outright admitted that he was previously kicked off of ebay as a seller. But I guess ebay is really on top of that problem. haha. So yeah, warn your friends about this seller. Thanks for reading.
  2. A quote from you... You don't even know what you're posting, do you? And you call us mindless. That's worth a chuckle. No, you need go back and read the entire thread. So you can stop contradicting yourself. No, your goal was and is to troll this forum. Yeah, you're probably used to being proven wrong. Oh, so, your point in coming in here and posting in this thread wasn't about the subwoofer cone design, it was about criticising DC "fanboys." Yep, that's what a troll does. None of us blindly follow. DC Audio has earned our appreciation. We didn't just blindly give it. You are sadly mistaken. You probably should've shared your opinion while being respectful. We're a sensible bunch of people that would gladly receive your opinion and respect it. But when you act like a troll, you get treated like one.
  3. Which would be stronger... chicken eggs or carbon fiber eggs? So, a paper or plastic concave cone would be just as strong as a carbon fiber concave cone of the same dimensions? Given a stress test, which do you think would win? Show us a DC product that isn't worth respect.
  4. Nice crispy clear sound quality. The level 3's put out, right?
  5. I just soggy'd my pants. Seriously though, I love it.
  6. Aren't they in HD? I clicked on the YouTube logo to watch the vids on the website and clicked the HD button. It then gave me an option of 720 and 1080 to choose from. Choosing 1080 put it in a larger and wider aspect frame. Looks good.
  7. It probably took a hit and broke off. It'll need to be soldered back on.
  8. If I was the owner of that bowling alley, I'd kick their asses out.
