Guest MegaloManiac
Does the Mr Clean Auto Dry work well on darker cars? I've been thinkning about picking one up today. But Im not sure. I read on other sites that its just a purifier(which works) gets rid of all minerals in water so no water spots. You'll only end up with maybe a handful of water spots. Anybody have on hand use on this? Give me a small review of it please

BassJunkie
My grandfather used to use it on his car, it was a light brown, seemed to work fine. But he said that a little bit of elbow grease would do the same job. Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. Guest MegaloManiac
are you sure its not a User error? cause you are supose to scrub while washing and then rinse it. the rinse part is what leaves the no water spots.
Guest MegaloManiac
OK i just washed my car about an hour ago. I only took one snapshot and that was just proof i bought one lol, it got dark outside after i was done. This product does indeed work.BUT, when you use the soap make sure you atleast lightly scrub the car every inch. then What i did was used the power wash to get all the suds off, then i switched on the filter. i used the filter portion as if i was spray painting. I did the whole car, although due to the weather the drying part took a bit than expected. No streaks were left, but spots were left where i DIDN'T "scrub" earlier. Overall i'm happy, but the replacement filter is BS IMO(price wise). A shammy cloth will help to "boost" the drying process a bit more, but wait about 5-10 min before hitting it with the shammy. btw: its reall not that expensive, it was worth the $18 in my opinion PROS: - easy to install - easy to refill soap - easy to use - Works well for the most part, maybe little less than a handful of water spots was left-due to user error CONS: - Feels like it could break easy - Filters don't last very long ( i took off the wrapper noticed the filter was almost brown, maybe my water isnt clean in my city) - Price for replacement filter & soap is ridiculous I give it a A- thats my small review of the product. I'm no expert at car washing, I am just a consumer.

Invest in a PUR water filter lol Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free.
