grizzleyadams69
im building my box in my basement and i must have left my wet rag too close to the box. at the edge of my bottom plate theres water saturated into the mdf, but its not that big of a spot. its about the size of my thumb, and the mdf has swelled slightly. i clamped down a dry towel really tight on the wet spot to try and soak it up. am i screwed? its wet right where i need to glue the front baffle onto the bottom plate. im assuming it will dry up eventually, but i dont know as this is the first encounter ive had with water soaking into mdf. anyone have any idea if itll be alright or not? RamenNoodles
If its only one sheet, you should just buy another. If its small enough, just cut it off like Ed said. Quote Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio
Loudintha509
If its flakey like one of them biscuts that section is unuseable. But if you think a screw or brad would hold in it give it a shot.
