Its all the same and cheap or go to your local hobbie store if you have one. They'll know what your talking about. Carefully remove the trim ring on your sub. They crack easily so pay attention. Scrape or peel the old glue off and hit some sand paper on the basket where the surround glues to. Then clean the surround and basket with rubbing alchohol at the place of contact. Let it dry (it dries quickly). Apply a thin layer of glue with a small brush evenly on the surround backside and on basket. Grab as many clothes pins as you can find or buy some and use them to clamp the surround. I let mine sit for two days in the warmest part of my house. Just a precaution. Then reglue your trim ring on using the same glue and clothes pins. Wait another day and you'll have a brand new subwoofer. Thank you so much for the instructions!! Gonna stop at the local hobby shop tomorrow to get the glue, and hit up a dollar store for clothespins. I'll let you know how it goes by friday, or saturday. I think they have a brand name of IC2000 or something. blackandgoldl69 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 not to thread jack but i also have a question that relates to this i have two audio pipe 12 inch subs and i guess one of them slid into something in the trunk and ripped the surround in a straight line from the cone to the screw hole on the speaker how would i go about fixing this

Flip the sub over and do it from the underside of the surround, lay a decent bead underneath then run a very thin line on top to make it look nice. If it's just a slit you're fine, once it's a flap you have more issues... 10.x volts fo' life!
