hotshot27
I have a chance to purchase a pair of Kappa 6.5 coax for very very cheap. They are rated at 75 rms, and i know they have good SQ, just wondering if they would really take 75 watts My amp Autotek (oldschool) 4x75 rms at 4phm 4x150 rms at 2ohm Any opinions? im looking for something loud for under 60 bucks, would these be a good buy? keitare
they are great speakers but they are 2ohm not 4 ohm Quote Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. JZeFF
I have owned a few infinity kappa perfect tens, i have owned some 5.25" reference series coaxials.. also had 2 sets of tiny 2.5" speakers, haha. Now in my new car i have the Kappa 6x9 3 ways... i love them. I just ordered another set today actually. Im sure there are better out there... but i know i have always liked what i got from infinity. DGold
How good sq wise are these infinty's. For example if a siren(fire alarm) went off in a song... would they scream? I want some realistic sound. J00bles
i have a set of the new kappa 6.5 coaxils and they sound great even on my alpine 9884 head unit. if you were to throw some more power at them, they will really stand out. they sound a hell of a lot better than the $50 pioneer rear speakers i have plus the 2 ohm load and the carbon fiber cones are cool features. great looking speakers! bigredishott
I love the sound of infinity and have run infinity since 2000. with my exp. I wouldnt give them more than maybe 65 watts. Infinitys love to blow, I mostly have problems with the mid-basses. I would also block all extra low freqs from getting to to them.
