J00bles Posted July 4, 2009 Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 my level 4 15" got loud and low, but any of the subs you listed will work well. but since you asked, its actually a bit better to have the wire leads rather than push connectors. you get a better connection and better power transfer to the voice coil. Decaf Posted July 4, 2009 Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) direct connect vc wiring is the best... better than push terminal aq should be tuned to 35hz and higher... they are stiff but with the right amount of power... the aqs can handle lows like any other some companies use weaker motors and softer spiders to get lows... aq utilized high bl motors, lightweight handstitched cones/surround (iirc) and great motor control below tuning copper coils are fine with 1000-1500w alum coils can do 2000w+ in the correct application... 1500-1700 ive read is a sweet spot daily great sub for the price.... id choose the dc lvl4xl tho if i was choosing Edited July 4, 2009 by Decaf Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
