Stephen
Bought a "200" amp alternator for my cavalier that claimed 110 at idle and 200 at 2k rpm. got the test results back today and, it was horrible. ran 158 COLD at 2500rpm probably 130 hot at 2k rpm and a shitty 65 amps at idle COLD. maybe 40 amps hot. no wonder it killed its self with no system in the car. not even enough power to keep the voltage up with only the car running no accessories. Thats $300 wasted EA the Pyle of alternators Quote you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.
