lanman31337
Absolutely turn the loudness off. I never use it if I'm using an external amp. It's clipping your speakers to high heaven. David
the amp makes way more then rated power, try doing the suggestions above if you still smell coils turn the gains down all the way and be gentle
JZeFF
When i tuned the amp i did turn loud off. and i had treble/sub/bass at zero.. Now should i just turn "loud" off, or do i need to turn loud off and set all the settings back to zero? And for tuning i used 50hz for sub amp, and 1khz for the DAT amp Edited July 11, 2009 by JZeFF Quote Pioneer x930 bt Rockford t2500 bdcp 18" nightshade v1 DC audio 175.4 RF power T162s up front, infinity 3 way 6x9's in the back (removing rear stage and re-doing doors soon) 3x XS power D2700's Knukonceptz 0awg all around
