u dont have to get sketchup if u arent familiar, that wont help... i just thought u might like to have the file for reference in the future or to double check measurements if need be

sweet, router for the win... that will help alot.... check out what sundownz did in his jeep on the inside of his box.... he used pvc for his slot port on the inside.... this might help you too... ill hunt for the pic and put it in this post... just another idea to keep on the back burner

and going from wires thru the port to brass terminals agained another .3db alone (in his setup)

many things to keep in mind to keep the score up

decaf, can you estimate how many sheets of MDF I would need for this? 5-6 maybe.... hell maybe even more.

Why the need for such a big port?

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

Sub Amp:American Bass VFL 500.1

Subs: 4 Fi BL 18's

Enclosure:21.5 Cubic foot flat wall tuned to 40 hz

Batteries: 3 Kinetik 2400's in the back, Kinetik 1200 under hood.

Mids & Highs: 4 Kicker DS 6.5 coax in doors, 2 Kicker DS coax in pillars

Highs Amp: Kicker kx250.2, kx100.2

Wire: 4 Runs 1/0 gauge Knukonceptz

i sure will, ill post up cut sheet and then figure out mdf sheets afterwards, im shooting for mon/tue when im off work

Why the need for such a big port?

ummm, its 14sqin/cuft.... not really that big

400sqin/28cuft = 14.29sqin/cuft

if it was my build... i would do 16sqin/cuft and 32cuft for a low end monster
