my last wall was subs passenger port driver side, i will be upgrading to two 18"s so im looking at options, i have 2 captians chairs and a center console between them, as far as layout im wanting loudest option but sounding good, i was thinking maybe sub behind each seat and port on top towards the roof, or port in the middle and 1 sub behind each seat but im torn, its going into a 2004 f150 ext cab, rear seat has been removed and a new floor has been made to sit ontop of the batteries and amps, it will be roughly 14 cubes and have a 38hz tuning, subs are still undecided but they will be beefy no doubt

since u already tried port driver side, try it in the middle.

my old wall was tuned to 29-30hz, SMASHED the lows, and as much as i like the lows, im rebuilding to play music, but be louder on the meter, i was scepticle about my choice on tuning so i built a temp box for 1 15" at 38hz, and it respectably plays the lows down to 32hz or so, much lower than that i dont need

is there any pro's cons to sub port displacement in a wall? im thinking port ontop would be the best but im far from a pro, if it matters ill be doing bassrace and occasionally db drag

build it the same way just tune it higher. like 38hz

driverside port is suppose to be the loudest

when you were doing your jetta what was your wall choice gonna be? i cant remember how many subs you were gonna do either

i would like it tuned lower though, imo.

I can play down as low as the rest.....I play mostly chopped & screwed music.....and the 30hz tune I had before sucked...
