audiofanaticz
Why can't memory companies really stress test there shit before the consumers purchase it. Main reason why Im a Corsair fan. Even their value select memory is better then most imo (tho I never ran VS in any of my rigs) just xms and xms xpert.
Moti
Yeah I only use corsair in my rigs. It hasn't failed me yet.
Slinky
yes corsair is nice, but it was about 60 bucks more than the ocz ram i bought. f that Quote DD M4 Rockford Fosgate P500-4 SoundQubed HDC415 w carbon fiber cap 2 Rockford Fosagate T1675-S XS Power D3400 Under Hood XS Power D5100 in rear Michael Singer 200A Alt Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/153901-2012-veloster-update-842013-wall-build-4-15s/
Moti
I mean corsair and ocz both offer great warranty's. The only other memory brand I have tried is patriot, which is decent also.
audiofanaticz
yes corsair is nice, but it was about 60 bucks more than the ocz ram i bought. f that for their lifetime warranty, matched memory pairs, and testing, Id reather pay the extra few bucks for it, and have a solid system, and not worry about having unstable ram. but thats just me. Kinda like going to walmart and buying a vr3 flip out screen because its hundreds less then a lowend pioneer flipout.
Moti
Dude this problem isn't typical. It wasn't corsair's fault or ocz's, gskill's etc... It was the memory supplier (Elipida in this case) OCZ backs up their products as well, with lifetime warranty's Corsair's Dominator GT line had the same problem, so they are taking it off the market. Slinky
plus, you cant compare ocz to vr3. ocz is a fairly solid brand from what ive seen/used.
