Weightlifting/ Workout

Recommended Posts

I used to lift weights all the time, but have struggled with a back injury for about 11 years. It seemed like I would just start to get into a groove, then something would happen to my back that would put me on the sidelines for several weeks. Long story short I finally went to the doctor and found I have a fractured vertebra (old injury) and two bulging discs. Gave up weight lifting about 2 months ago and sold both of my weight sets.

Right now I'm focusing on back rehab and doing bodyweight exercises. I started doing Diamond Dallas Page's Yoga for Regular Guys and I'm amazed at how much better my back is feeling. I have no desire to start back with weights any time soon, but maybe one day we'll have a house with enough room for me to have my own "weight room" and then I'll get back in the game.

I have done dips for reps with an added 50lbs at a bodyweight of about 168lbs, trab bar deadlift with just over 200lbs (that was all I could fit on the bar), but my biggest accomplishment was a hip belt squat of 300lbs for 6 reps (probably could have done about 10-20 more pounds). Not much weight compared to a lot of guys, but I'm still proud of it.

BTW, I'm 5'10", range from 165-168lbs and have a waist of 33"-34".

heres a work out plan everybody should be on. 500mg Test Cyp/week stacked with 500mg Deca Durabolin/week eat a shitload of food and work out as hard as you possibly can 6 days a week then follow up with Nolvadex for about 2 weeks after the 3 months of Test Cyp/Deca stack

im too skinny lol. im back down to 142 I think :/ im weak as hell now too, when I was at my condo on the beach there is a little gym and I maxed out the little leg press or w/e(all the machines max at 200 lbs)

and I was only able to do the bench machine at 130 LOL. I don't have my bench anymore so all I have is a bar with maybe 90 pounds and 2 20lb free-weights... what can I do haha. I want to get back up to my 168 and not be 140lbs anymore, SHIT SUCKS!
