that would be nice if u can, but u should upgrade to new batts b4 u do the alt....if u look at my sig, the 2400/800 should keep you around 15 volts, but drop to 13.8-14.3 when bass is played, which is still very good without having a new alternator

If you dont mind me asking where you getting your kinetiks? The stereo shop in my town quoted me 250 for the hc1400

I cant say all i know is that with gain set at half with stock 105 amp alt and Brand new stock type battery voltage drops like crazy. I would expect to get at minimum a ho alt and a few larger audio batteries seriously. I could out up a vid of my system if you would like...

Well what do you expect seriously......I mean come on..... your running a single stock alt with a stock battery and trying to drive over 2000wrms....no wonder you think its power hungry and IMO I wouldn't ever run a stock battery again stock car, stereo car, or anything..... Flooded batteries are junk.

Gay song but beats good.

All I can say is, be careful if u are only using a stock battery....it will fuck up ur amp if u drop voltage too low all the time
