as long as the rest of the box is done right, port on bottom will be louder and will sound better.

what up bro, if your gonna wall it off, port on top will be loudest to the ear. but if your gonna put it on the meter at all then port it on the drivers side

bracing and proper cubes matched with proper port area and tuning = Loud to the EAR AND METER

but if you limited on space think if something will be in front blocking the port if it is on the bottom
