You know a GM large case bolts right up? i had a 300A on my sonoma you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. DC POWER
dustin_shull Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 well to answer a few questions: -when I cut out the back of the cab and front of the bed I just drew out my cut, drilled a starting hole and proceeded to cut my blow thru with a body saw. -I would have figured it would be louder, however, when it was mic'ed the seats were folded to the back of the cab, and the mic was on the pedestal in the seat and I believe 20 or so inches away from the windsheild- with the windows rolled up. And it was my first time to a bass off like that, with stock alternator and had no idea what the box liked to hit. It was only in the truck for about 8 hours before the truck got metered lol. I also believe my amp is SERIOUSLY holding me back now too.... I'm looking at going with a RF T2500-1bd, but i'm still crunching numbers.... -I now relize that the cs130d case can be replaced by a big case ad244, but i was kinda in a hurry to get this one... oopppss..... but i may just add another one in the near future... -More vids hopefully this afternoon....
