I enjoy the lights, but they do run really hot. I'd really like 2 x 12's, the one alone will cause hearing damage, but its not shaking the car apart like everyone else's Been busy on my buddies car, I'll need to get some pics up of that fun. Hey man, I just wanted to reach out to you and ask if you are sure that is a D300HC and not a D200HC? I ask because I ran MMATS for years (starting in 99 I think it was) and NEVER saw a 300HC in nickel. As far as I know it was only possible through a factory special order (it was extra). Normally dealers just had white and black. The 100's and 200's were often times nickle or god forbid white (which I got stuck with at one point but luckily it blew). The D300HCs will put out over 1700 watts but that's only at 1ohm and almost exclusively modded. I just happened to notice your caption on your youtube video about 1700@2ohms. Anyways best of luck! You are probably correct, I am not the best at the technical side of amp/subs yet It might be the special order version then? I'll try and get some pics of it up close.... even tho it is now fried :( I borrowed it to a friend and it was working fine for a week until we install a new HU late in the night and forgot to turn down the amp! So he said it sounded AMAZING on his way to work, and then it smoked so he bought it lols. Anyways Still good fun and learning experience!
