What's the difference?

Recommended Posts

Is there any difference besides appearance between these two component sets? If so, what's the difference and which is better? I'm ordering a set in a few days.

Well from what it says about the it pretty much tells you that the T1652-S (first page) is just the newer version of the T162.

So since they're the same price I guess get the newer model.

Just wondering, 'cuz the newer one looked like it has less x-max and is of lesser quality than the older one. Thanks for the quick answers.

Well I was chatting with some of the RF techs and one of the newly redesigned things is the tweeter mount the older series used a mount that was somewhat difficult to take apart....where the new ones have been redesigned to make that easier....also the older series used a aluminum cone woofer cone with is extremely easy to dent even being careful.

Personally I think the older ones look more "quality" made then the news ones......but the older tweeter mounts can be a pain in the balls....

Also I like the older series b/c of the slim neo mag and it just happens to be one of the few 5.25" that will fit in my A-pillars b/c of magnet width not depth.

Either way I like my older style ones that are pretty new to me.

Would it be worth the extra $$ to get the new ones, than, or would I not notice much of a difference between the two?
