what do u think it would be? i know that the amps wouldnt be it seeing that there only 3/4 of the way up, but idk about the radio, its not the best... but it usaly takes them 2mins till i can smell them. and another thing is that the amps are strapped if that would add to anything.

yeah now the lowest i seen it go was 13.6

id try to get your hands on a oscope then, your voltage seems fine, you could be clipping it though

alright ive been thinking about stuff about how the surround just blew off cuz rusty said he would of noticed that it was poorly glued so to homedepo after school. and aobut the chipping i thnik its that i was using my ipod all the time when i notice the stink but on the radio and cds i dont really remever ever smeling them. so i got to get a hu with ipod usb on it.

and does anyone think it might be the design of the box? cuz if it is then yay rebuild but if its not then what?

You have the gains set 3/4 of the way up? What is the preout voltage of your deck? And what kind of deck? Also how high do you turn the volume up like it can go to what and you turn it to what?

yeah cuz im kinda scared about 4000rms on them. and idk what the volts are or the deck name.. but the hu goes to 40 and i turn it to 25 to 28
