E-Train
Ok so i drove a 2006 325i last night and i was jammin to the radio and wow to me it sounded amazing, so i wanna know what kind of speakers, amps, and other equipment i would need to emulate(sp?) the sound of a BMW in my 4 runner, just a good clean sound not a alot of boomin bass just i guess a SQ sided system. Keep in mind i already have 2 15" lvl 3's and i would like to use one of them, so what kind of box would sound best for not alot of bass but a good clean sound from the lows midrange and highs. EricR
sealed is for fegs, lolbut for real, never heard a sub in a sealed box that sounded "great" to me sealed is not for fegs, its for sq people. box is 50% of the install Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? korey_hofer
sealed is my favorite box design by far tight and smooth playing only reason I'm ported is my subs are horrible for sealed Quote previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. SQMonte
sealed is for fegs, lolbut for real, never heard a sub in a sealed box that sounded "great" to me different strokes for different folksbut if it's SQ he's after, sealed is usually better in those apps than ported. Not to say that you can't run a nice ported setup in a SQ app, but in most cases sealed is the way to go. E-Train
Ok so sealed for the sub, and im trying to not break the bank on the mids and highs, no CDT or Morel, and I need a good clean amp. But remember tryin not to break the bank, this is a budget minded SQ system Quote 1997 4 Runner Alpine CDA-9886 4 Fi Audio X Series 12's 1 Crunch GP3000D Pro DC Power Inc.
