im scared first spl style box

Recommended Posts

hey if you hit the print screen button which is the next button to the left of f12 on your keyboard you can take a pic of everything on your comp screen.

open up MS Paint (Start> Accessories> Paint)

hit Control V to Paste and Crop out what you need..

= better pics :P

But IMO You got 4 beefy 15's youll want some bracing (bracing the top to bottom and sides to e/o gives more stregnth than doubling all the walls)

I would put a brace from top to bottom in the center and move the port to the back. Subs up port back should be your best bet. of corse IMO anyway

in any regard, Good Luck with the build

4 4 15's, that port looks like it might be kind of small, at least in the pic

Go port on drivers side for spl

and make it roughly 10 square inches per cube

Then you should be golden for 4 15s

Oh and if its for spl tune high

so you are saying to move the port from the center to the drivers side of the box???? this is a wall going in a 89 chevy fullsize ext cab. any ideas on baffeling the box? What would you consider a high tune to be?

Double baffle with 2x4s or threaded rods for bracing... I would think each 15 would take about 5-6 cubes each factor that in when makin your port make it roughly 200-240sq inches of port.

If youre gonna do music tun it around 35-38

if only burping it tune higher to 45-50
