Is mounting amps to the sub box bad?

i dont like to do it myself unless i have to. i did once have a few layers of some old fatmat i had layin around. it was my brothers mat actually lol. so i put like 3 layers of it, then another sheet of wood over that. i think i had bushings as well on that box, but cant remember if it was that one or the one before that

If you have a large amp with vertical MOSFETs you will kill it just through vibration... snap the legs off the output FETs and then the whole amp goes phut...phut...BOOOOOM...pop pop pop pop.

ive wondered this myself...can you dig up some examples? i dont know shit about amp internals....

How "large" are we taking? Does RF make amps this way? I will be running the Power(07+) series.
