Which one will I get more watts out of @ 12-14.4v?

GPV3000.1D-PRO

or

Hifonics XXV-COLOSSUS

They are only about $100 price difference

Thanks in advance

If you don't mind my input, these are both VERY different amplifiers.

GP3000D-Pro

1 Ohm stable mono amplifier

18V stable

3000wrms x 1ch @ 1 Ohm 13.8V

4300wrms x 1ch @ 1 Ohm 18V

XXV Colossus

2 channel amplifier

1600wrms x 2ch @ 1 Ohm per channel 13.8V

3200wrms x bridged @ 2 Ohms 13.8V

1900wrms x 2ch @ 1 Ohm per channel 16V

3800wrms x bridged @ 2 Ohms 16V

Amp will protect around 16.4-16.6V

Hope this helps a bit.

p.s. GPV3000 isn't out yet but is in production.

wow quick response!

well, I'll be getting the speakers to match the amp that I decide on, so the impedence differences aren't an issue. What I should really have said is : Which will be easier on the juice?(i will be running whichever one at lowest possible impedence) Which would be more suitable as a long term daily driver(durability, overheating)?

edit: I can wait for the updated GP if you think thats the better choice :)

Amps - 2x t1500-1bd

Subs - 2x hdc315's(copper d2's)

Deck - 1940's Amplitude Modulation radio

The XXV Colossus will be easiest on your electrical. But it won't run for long on a stock electrical system so I am curious what your electrical system consist of?

140A alternator, soon to have extra batt in the trunk. Will that not be sufficient enough to sustain voltage? Will the amp fry?
