Fender Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 My subs aren't as loud as more after I built my amp rack and moved it closer towards the trunk lid. But it use to slide towards it all the time and it was still loud. I reconnected everything correctly too. HU settings are almost the same. I'm not sure what the prob is. 1mtx1 Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 Competition Saturday. ahhhwhat up bro, so i see u posted up.what ever space u have from where your ports at the back of your box that is how much u need from the back of the car to your box. lets say u have 6inchs then u need your box to be 6inchs away from your box. I think it has to do with your gain seting and the othere issues your having. As far as the comp goes do what i said about getin your doors right .

Yellow top under hood. Kinetik 1800 in rear. Big 3. (H/O Alt Soon to come) Kicker ZX200.4 Kicker 6.5 doors (blown) RF 6.5 comp set (soon to come) 1 run of Stinger 1/0 guage (soon to be 3) All of the above is all gone Currently own a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 No audio components.
Austin175 Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 ya i got use to my 15" xls in like 3 days but thats y i dont thinkmine ar as loud i think my subs just need broke in more kia spectra 4 door HU-a kenwood kdc-692x optima red top under the hood ( kinetik battery or powermaster in the back ) Iraggi 260amp H/O alternator 1 set of knu kandy 1/0 guage wiring kit ( 2 more sets coming ) front speakers - back speakers - 2 12" lv 4's with lvl 5 softparts ( going to be 4 in near future) Sundown 3500d( going to be 2 sometime ) i have boughten from - Bass14(smd), ddbump(caraudioclassifieds)
