Basshead08 Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 Had a guy, thats actually pretty knowledgeable about car audio just doesn't know much about the "underground brands", tell me that I should deaden the inside of my box once I get it built. He said it makes it sound much clearer. I've never heard of anyone doing this but I don't wanna write him off without asking around first. So is he full of it or what? System tear out has begun...Out with the old i have a iq of 128 i graduated at the top of my class tell me how im reatrded you are the 1 thats dumb as hell you can't even spell Look at the underlined text hahahahahahahaha I think of it as the virgin losing the virginity technique not just jumping in to it, and pounding away, but going at it slowly over time, to get to that full extreme

Basshead08 Posted August 8, 2009 Author Report Posted August 8, 2009 Kinda what I thought but like I said, don't wanna right someone off without doing a little research. I need to deaden my floor anyway. Thats prolly what I'm gonna use my free door pack for to get rid of the road noise and the sound of my loud ass pipes. berniebp87 Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 No point in doing that unless your subwoofer is playing 100hz+ Proud member of SMD My build log 2 DDZ9518 2 DynaBel BF 8501 2 GZ Neo 8"s 154.5@38hz with 2 DD Z9518`s 145.5@40hz with 2 DD 1508`s My youtube vids
thehoe92 Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 haha for real maybe a whole new suspension while you are at it. but theres no need to deaden a box if you build it sturdy. it would be interesting to hear what it sounds like but I have a feeling it would sound tinny. save the deadening for everything else that your properly enclosed sub will be destroying Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
