Box help

Ok so, this is going to be a top firing box in my trunk for 2 12" DC level 3's...I can use 11" height, 36" wide and 20" deep.

I need 3 cu ft for the 12's...So 10" high, 36" wide, 20" deep...with port 1 - 1" and port 2 1"....The RE calc is how I got the numbers..I know its not perfect but it says the tuning would be right around 33hz....

The port just seems wrong to me....so if anyone could check me, or help me out I would be most grateful :give_rose:

When I enter 4 inches for the port the tuning flies up to like 55hz.

IDK if this would affect anything, but how I did it on RE to make it look right anyway was enter: Width 40", Height 20", Depth 10", then the ports......It just made it look right on the 3d model.

(I reversed the height and depth)

wont make a diffrence in volume just changes the placement of the port

make the port 4 inches wide and then change the secound number for port lenght until you get the tuning you want

change the length and the tuning will change with it.

Changing the length of the second port piece barely makes a difference and ganks my cubic space

more port area means longer port. Longer port means more displacement. Which means you need a bigger box to make it all work.

woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked

You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...
