I own a 1990 vw jetta coupe with 1.8l 4 cyl engine and would like to know who makes a alt upgrade that is good quality and next, looking to upgrade the battery, so need to know which brand would be good to go with. Back in the days, I used to run the optima stuff and just find the biggest amp altnator from a junk yard that would fit right in, but now since I am getting back into car stereo again, I want to do it right the first time. Pushing it to the limits. Want more power.
