with those splits and rough mating surfaces, you're likly to see some air leaks and stuff.

first boxes are always the toughest ones. not too bad though

Yea first boxes are definitely a pain in the a$%. ESPECIALLY if it has Wedge-Like shapes. I also got a lot of splits in my box and could've pre-drilled but was just way to frustrated/tired. I definitely regret not pre-drilling, but still gonna glass mine as much as I can.

in my opinion we are doing pretty good.. my only worry is that the splits are gonna get longer and longer over time

If you didnt put the side panels on yet..

To fix the splits, set the box on its end so you can pour glue into the wood splits. fill it up nice and good with glue, then take a c clamp or a wood clamp and clamp the wood until the glue dries so you dont see the split. Titebond wood glue like your using is good stuff, once the glue is fully cured, the glue joint will be tighter then the wood itself!
