Rogers Posted August 12, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 12, 2009 hehehe i used the meteor shower as an excuse to stay out and work on the build... well i think im pretty well done with the amp rack for now... when i can afford the rest of my equipment ill rebuild the rack... but i like the way it looks... it looks clean but custom made.. if you know what i mean... anyways.... its hard to remember to take pics while your working... it just kinda slips your mind.. but i was able to snap a few humm i dont have a back seat... who the hell is going to need seatbelts? i ended up cutting the crossmember board in half length ways and then i bolted it on each side and made a couple 1/8th inch thick braces for the middle... but i forgot to take pics...damn i also drilled holes through the rack to run my wires through... anyways once i had it built i pulled out all of the upper and lower trim (except for the back dash) and cleaned everything real good and began carpeting... and this is pretty much where im at with it at the moment... i still have to screw down the amp plate and i have to fix my damn fuse block... i accidently broke it... kinda bummed... but a little epoxy and nobody will ever be able to tell... i ended up running 2 runs of 14guage wire as the 8 guage wasnt long enough...but ill swap it out when i get somemore wire im not sure if 2 runs of 14will be able to handle that much power... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/79921-rogers-700-dream-car-update-page-17-a-wall/?p=2335774 93 Saturn SC2My system4 SA-15's Walled 2 Cerwin-Vega S2000's 3 Kinetik Hc2000's Dual 200amp alts. you guys done with the peepee touching contest or do I need to end it?
