so you are saying that top (flush mount) baffle would in essence direct the air straight up as opposed to in all directions with no flush mount.

i guess that makes sense.

except i dont see any subs excurting sideways. its must be a really small amount of air

ever see those home audio speakers in the round enclosure from Orb Audio that has a google ad on this site?...same idea

a recessed speaker in a round or teardrop shape enclosure will disapear in your front stage if done properly because the waves have no angles to bounce off in a sense...mostly done for highs...of course i know nothing about it..

just got to work this morning and found a pair of RF 8" woofers that musta got delivered yesterday after i left work....now i just need the rest of it!

Then i can start thinking of how i wanna do the panels and i may have to think about it for a week and do some planning.
