meade916
Hey Steve, is the rear door 1 piece or 2? I was thinking you could mount some amps on it. If it's 1 piece, you might be able to fit at least 2 amps there, maybe 4 if your creative. no thanks....no room for that. I will probably reinforce that hatch more somehow - maybe even make the hatch glass perma shut since i get so much pressure loss there. Forevrbumpn
Steve, I know you have the battery set up planned out, but I have taken out my spare tire (2000 Yukon Denali) and took some measurements, and if a steel tube cage was built, the same size as the factory tire, just bolted back up in place, in a circular style- like the tire, you should be able to get about a good 6 batts under that area all together. Its a thought, if I missed something in here ( didn't rear the last couple pages since the other day) But it should be a pretty easy bolt up, un bolt, and put back in place with hydraulic jack Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Its a thought, if I missed something in here ( didn't rear the last couple pages since the other day) But it should be a pretty easy bolt up, un bolt, and put back in place with hydraulic jack its more complicated then that. First of all, the D3100 is a BIG ASS BATTERY. No way in hell 6 will fit even with the floor cut out. Second, i have a roll pan. If i had a bumper and a tow hitch still, i would have more options, not many more but just a little. Still not enough room for 6 and CERTAINLY not a simple bolt up if you could even do it. Also you have to take the terminals and what your gonna do about them into consideration. I could probably get 6 D3400's (smaller) back there though.
