Megalomaniac
Meade, Since you have everything out, are you planning to address that heat issue you were experiencing from under the car coming into the cabin? How about a better heatshield above the exhaust. Quote Team Stereo Clarity

brewer_brewer
looks great man. what did you do about securing the batts down? just relying on the weight of all of them bussed together to keep them from jumping into the pan? Soulman07
If not I'm sure a few bungee straps would suffice Quote 1993 Chevrolet SWB Pickup Viper 791XV Primer Stage 5/8 Static Drop Kinetik HC1800 Big 3 Knu Flex 0 Team Tex Flex
brewer_brewer
i'm pretty sure he wouldn't use bungee straps. it would work but kind of ghetto. steve takes pride in his work. meade916
combined, they weigh 385lbs and are shoe-horned and stomped in place (and with the bars, they ARE combined). They arent going anywhere. If i put a jack under them and lifted the one in the middle, i bet the tahoe would go up a few inches before the batts started to move. If i did flip my truck doing 110mph, they MIGHT move 1/4" and then hit the top of the lid. In other words it would have to be the most catastrophic accident to even make them budge. In that case the batts are the least of my worries. Even then they wont short out, i dropped some stuff in there before i closed it up. Trust me on this, its aiiight.
