Since they will never been seen anyway? what pretty coverings? if you mean me pulling the amps apart the answer is no. They are designed to run SUPER cool and efficient just the way they are but since the ones you see will be completely buried, they need SOME sort of air flow. Thats what i did...but taking the covers off would be a waste of time and probably hurt more then help. It was just a thought I had, I was thinking that removing the backing and giving it like a 1/4" rubber spacers would allow some heat to dissipate a little better but you do know the product better than most of us and you are...
