Nightshade
Looks good Kent! What did you end up going with 2.5 or 3 cubes? By the looks of it I would probably say 3 cause with a 6" aero that is 17" long it would tune you to 34-35ish and if it were 2.5 it would be about 37hz. Either way it looks very nice and hope it does the 150 that your looking for. Oh and fyi I wouldn't cover it in carpet cause it will hurt your score by a few tenths. Just resin the outside and paint it ftw!!! 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz

Just resin the outside and paint it ftw!!! thanks for everything! i ended up going with 2.7 cubes net. when counting aeroport length how much should i subtract if i include the flares? im uploading my shirt trick video. ill post it up as soon as it finalizes in youtube this box hits really good on thug motivation 101. so im probably peaking at 44-45hz with this daily port. im gonna try the spl port tomorrow and see what happens New System 2 10" Fi SSD, Sundown 1500d Build I build and design enclosures(cheap price), PM ME Kicker L7 Navigator(plexiglass, fiberglass, aeroport) Build BTL 18" Escalade(plexiglass, battery tray) Build http://www.kentbaudio.com Old System
Nightshade
Your welcome, anything I can do to help. 2.7 sounds like a very nice compromise. I like the look of those 10's quite a bit and the power that you have should do the trick. If you want to get real crazy get yourself a pair of dual 1's just for competition and run that saz1500d at .25 ohms for burps. The score that I just did with my single Nightshade 15 box was off of a pair of 2000d's strapped at .5 ohms so each amp was seeing .25 ohms. They will make more power there and help your score out quite a bit. The only problem is that I wouldn't reccomend running it daily at .25 and is why I suggested another pair just for comps. I can't wait to see the video.
