I have a picture of the AP30001D, and circled parts that I would like to learn what they are? If you have a minute, please answer back. Thanks I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

newls1 Posted August 14, 2009 Author Report Posted August 14, 2009 OK, the green and blue circles is really my question..... Why do some amps that claim (for example) 2k rms watts have a different amount of those. Some may have 2-3 "blue circled parts" and some may have only 1??? and the same goes for the green circles? I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
Stephen Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 OK, the green and blue circles is really my question..... Why do some amps that claim (for example) 2k rms watts have a different amount of those. Some may have 2-3 "blue circled parts" and some may have only 1??? and the same goes for the green circles?they are part of the power supply, the ones in blue circles you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. DC POWER
Cr@sh Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 You are correct^^^ also the three prong chips along the sides(and bolted to the heatsink) of the amp are mosfets, the main differences between amps are how they are designed and the quality of the components that were mentioned. The quality ranging from 1% tolerance to 10% and is why some amps do rated and others do not do rated. My old install at cardomain, never finished!
t-money Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 every company designs there shit different. there is more than one way to build a 2000 or 3000 or whatever watt amp so different companys use different methods depending on what they think is the best/ most reliable way 2002 ford focus hatch pioneer DEH-P8400bh infinity kappa 6.5 components front and rear XS Power D1200 Shuriken BT-100 audioque 120.4 2 15 inch audioque HDC3 D2 2 audioque 2200d big 3 mechman 220a alt with external regulator 479-418-3056
B4SSB0Y Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Not only that but they all use different size caps in the amps, that is how some companies can get away using less. Where other companies will use more lower voltage ones to achieve the same output.
