matt402 Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 nice job logan, i approve of ur bumpage . what kind of no-wall boxes have u tried so far? from what ive seen sum loud x-cab trucks have subs fwd, port up across the back of the box... have u tried aeroports yet? ...but whateva works =]. i hope i can reach 150 w/ my 2nd 18... maybe i can find sum1 w/ a TL within 300 miles .
thehoe92 Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 STOP!! right now... seriously spray painting is addicting you will start to find more shit to spray paint to make your truck look new again, no joke!! do you have any of that 2x concentration black paint you used on the plastic for your bed? what color is it? ...obviously black but glossy, flat, semi? should have let me try some cleaner on it before you painted it but it still came out really good Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

Try out one of the Y splitters from radio shack and see if that works.. work case is you just wasted 5 bucks.. loganberry Posted April 9, 2010 Author Report Posted April 9, 2010 nice job logan, i approve of ur bumpage . what kind of no-wall boxes have u tried so far? from what ive seen sum loud x-cab trucks have subs fwd, port up across the back of the box... have u tried aeroports yet? ...but whateva works =]. i hope i can reach 150 w/ my 2nd 18... maybe i can find sum1 w/ a TL within 300 miles . yup tried virutally every box for the ext cab..i got more boxes than i know what to do with....subs forward port wherever dosnt work all that well cause my center console comes up half way on the seats..if i raise it above bye back window and might as well wall it, port behind driver seat, stupid loud for the driver, not very loud for the passenger and it meters for shit...everything up has worked best for me..just wish there was some way to fix my back window STOP!! right now... seriously spray painting is addicting you will start to find more shit to spray paint to make your truck look new again, no joke!! do you have any of that 2x concentration black paint you used on the plastic for your bed? what color is it? ...obviously black but glossy, flat, semi? should have let me try some cleaner on it before you painted it but it still came out really good its flat, everything is black, doubted i would like the way glossly looked, i woke up at 5 this morning, smashed over to home depot and came back to sleep lol..everything is rustoleum (sp) the exhaust i used flat black stuff made for bbq's, says its good for 1200 degrees so figured its good to go on the exhaust, the other is all like 2 step, or 2 concentrate (like you said) paint, i cleaned it first with paint thinner, then gave it a sand with some 220 grit, all over it to smooth out some of the imperfections (not all obviously) and then cleaned it again, primered it (with the same rustoleum 2 step primer) then shot it with black twice, and called it a day...i took my key, tried to scrape some off and its good to go, im not done painting, once i figure out how to take them off im removing all the faded ?(once black) plastic shrouding from around my windshield base that goes over the windshield wipers and that will be it i think Logan, for the bass knob, since its a 3.5mm jack. Time for some vidz? the exhaust is so far my favorite, no its not perfect, and yes i will have to touch it up, i have a truck and i use it for a truck, it will get dinged up and chipped, but the paint was 4 dollars, i put 5 coats on (it comes out really really thin) and have already had 3 people ask me if there new pipes...vids, meh they will come in time..its nothing special, just a couple 18"s My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
