lukaQ Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 clip depends on many things, but you will stay away from it with higher the voltage you can keep on the input of amp(s). Every amp will clip if you want too much from it, hope that is not the case here Got carbon fiber dust cap???
loganberry Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 Voltage isn't a huge issue, how I'm getting the power to the subs is, I'm sure that's the problem, ill find out tommorrow My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
lukaQ Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 why do you think so? Got carbon fiber dust cap???
loganberry Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 How the wire is on the terminals of the amp, I stripped the screw holes and its glued in there, tommorro I'm gonna get bolts that fit tight inside the holes and use ring terminals/washers/nuts on the amp, then solder the bolt in..see if that fixes it My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
lukaQ Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 sounds good, i was thinking you will buy batts to fix this, but i see now you had this plan anyway Got carbon fiber dust cap???
loganberry Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 Problem still not 100% fixed, happens when voltage gets to the low 12s, so I think that's it now..I've heard the ap's are real picky so I hope that's it..ill find out when I get the other batteries My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

David Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Logan, look at the rf 360s or the audison, they arent cheap but they are waaay better then the maxxlink, can also help tune the system to sound better
memphisBred Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Agreed with David. Both are nice and will clean up the overall sound Audison Bit-One has my eye. Money is currently being put to the side just for that. Maybe James will sell me his when the money's there. SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow
loganberry Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 I know audison is out of my price range..how would a 360.1 work?
